A scarlet heart, A pulse now part. A hearth so cold, Like the love now sold. A violet heart, Weaving its own fate. A violent soul, Leaving its long wait. A tired heart, Teeming with hate. A broken soul, Closing its old gate.

Untrue to senses, forgotten to all, the abyss that lies forth I dread. The thick wall and ceiling of woods conceals me from all light and living, the shadows that surround morph into a single haunting figure. I am left with one choice of forward, into the sodden amalgamation of earth. The first step is a slip, the next a trip, the last a stumble. Moments afterwards I'm sliding into inevitable agony, every moment long and excruciating. I cannot conceive what lies below, the eerie glow of flames, sounds of pain ricocheting off of the walls. I feel the rocks and acute juts from the walls tearing my flesh away and bones cracking, blood spilling.
